Hi,

Wondering if anyone has had any luck with the node node-red-contrib-sparkplug

I have installed it and its currently just stuck on Connecting, doesn't ever succeed or fail, I have tried a regular MQTT node that's comes by default, and that successfully connects so it cant be a connection issue between the IOT and the Broker.

Any Ideas?

Your broker is running on AWS?

 Hi, Thanks for replying.

My Broker is actually running on a server running Ignition with a MQTT Engine module.
I can send MQTT messages to this from the IOT using a regular MQTT node, however due to the lack of sparkplug b formatting the information is gibberish. 
I am unfamiliar with NodeRed and the IOT, is there anywhere i can look to try and figure out why the regular MQTT node can connect but the Sparkplug one doesn't?

Figured it out, ended up being simply the IP address required me specifying tcp.
