Program. Only access to the VM area from VB0 to VB850 is permitted by a LOGO! Program. Why is it not possible to access the higher areas of the VM memory such as VB985-VB990? Even if it were only reading? Does Siemens have a logical reason for this? Isn't Siemens interested in what users want?

In this video you can see how the date and time of the LOGO! 8 can not only be read out, but also changed using a remote device. In this case, the remote device is a simulated SIMATIC HMI panel.
