Hi, In a SFC you can program sequencers. It is up to you what to program. The sequencers are operated according to isa88 so when a sequencer Run is active and a hold signal is generated, the holding sequencer is triggered followed by held. When Resume is pressed, the sequencer Resuming is executed and so on. In Idle normally everything is in rest position. You can use the sequencer and do some resetting of signals or something like that. Abort usually is used for direct abort of the process. In there you set all motors and valves and other CM to rest position. This is mainly used when a emergency occurs. You also have a Completing sequencer where you can normally stop the process. You can also use Stopping to do so. So in the end, the sequencers will follow isa88 structure, up to you what to program in the sequencers. If you do not use the Holding sequencer (not present in the SFC), the SFC will execute Holding and directly followed by Held. |
