Ident profile anomaly

Hi all,

I am using a RFID system based in a RF180C communication module (ESIE6GT2002-0JD00) and two RF340R readers (ESIE6GT2801-2AB10). For manage this system I am using Ident Profile function blocks, "Ident_ResetRF300" (FB1920) and "Ident_Read" (FB1902).

The problem that I have is sometimes, in function block "Ident_Read", BUSY bit is in state 1 and never goes to 0 and in a consequence of this DONE bit never goes to 1. To reset this anomaly I must download again instance data block of "Ident_Read" function block, clear bit EXECUTE of this function block and set bit EXECUTE of "Ident_ResetRF300" function block.

In the attached file I share the part of the software code, also online, and the hardware configuration.

PS: I already changed the RF340 reader, and RF180C for a new but the problem is still appearing.

Hello, I'm having the same problem with RF180C over profinet, I'm using:

RF350R (6GT2 801-4AB10)

Antena (6GT2 98-1CD40-0AX0)

Tag (6GT2600-4AG00)

I have seen it happen with read and write blocks, in more than one module (a have several modules in a network). But not always works with downloading instance datablock, some times a need to unplug the rf180c module or download the hardware. 

Is there any other function for ident rf with no bugs??

This issue is very urgent because the production line is stopping frecuently

´There's a solution right now. If you have the possibility try upgrading to TIA V15 and select library version 5.0. In this version the bug is fixed.

I have the same problem.

I work with a CPU 15121SP (Tia V15 with library v5.1), an interface RF180C, two reader RF350R with ANT18. 

The tags are MOBY E.

As happened to @Alvarorez, when I try to read the tag, the block remain in the state of busy. Only the reset_rf300 allow me to continue.

I also experienced this bug. It's not about the hardware, it's the S7 blocks. Sporadically the blocks run into a state where the state machine gets stuck.

Try setting "tmp_connect.Static.state" to "0" to be able to restart the command without loading the S7 program. Maybe to could use a timer to automatically set the state after like 5 to 10 seconds of busy.

 Hello，I meet the same issue now , CPU315-2 PN/DP, RF180C, RF310R, Portal V15.1 , Ident Library  V5.2 .

 Could you tell where is the variable  "tmp_connect.Static.state" ? Is it really work? Thanks a lot.
