I am trying to communicate a Sinamics G150 drive with Starter software using the profibus port.

I am using a RS485 to USB converter, but the software is not detecting the drive at all. Is there any communication settings (address, baud rate, etc.) need to be done.

Which adopter you are using for communication?

You will need Communication processor CP 5711 as simple RS485-USB converter is not useful.
