Hello everybody,

I was doing some research with a Logo 8 and now I need an extra function in my program.

With a potentiometer I measure the level of an object. And that value is registered by the Logo Web acces tool in een csv file.

Because the lifting level became way more than a single revolution of the potentiometer I have to count the revolutions of the potentiometer also.

Because I do not have anymore inputs availeble I have to use the potentiometer. Now the up/down counter direction have to be activated if the analog value rises.

Is there anybody that have a tip or an example how I could solve this?

If the analog value rises the potentiometers turns clockwise.

If the analog value decrease then the potentiometer turns counterclockwise

But when I simulate the program is counterclockwise high when the analog value is zero. and clockwise is high when the value is higher then one.

Or do I something wrong?

The functionality what I search is if the value rise the counter counts clockwise and when the value falls the counter should count counterclockwise.

If the value goes from 100 to 200 cw = high & ccw = low

if the value goes from 200 to 100 cw = low & ccw = high

This is what I made myself
