VAC.Renaldi Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	can i use the usb / ethernet converter between pc and NCU port X127 see photo PISCEAN 2010 Hello, Yes, after installation of new NCU user need to clear NC/PLC data, next power UP cycle system, check intialization of NC/PLC correctly with system CF card, it will check system connection also & then user can reload/restore NC/PLC data. So please confirm this. Your NCU is 710.3 B PN. You can go on line with NCU via X127 port. You need Simatic Manager Step 7 v 5.6 & not TIA. Use Ethernet cable to connect instead of USB to Ethernet converter. NCU X 127 port has fixed IP address 192.168.215.1 and fixed subnet screen form 255.255.255.224. You need to set your PG/PC TCP/IP address & properties correctly, then you can establish on line connection with NCU. Attachment USB ethernet conector.JPEG (300 Downloads)

Presesnce of alarm/fault 2001 & 150202 itself indicates problem in system connection. Unless & untill those are rectified user can not go on line or will not help to go online. P. S. Could you please attach the snap shot of NCU 7 segment & LED display?

Which is HMI? HMI basic or Sinumerik Operate? Can you attach snap shot of OP screen? Have you checked connection between NCU, PCU, TCU, OP etc? are these OK? Did you carry out NC/PLC clear?

I CHECKED THE CABLE CONNECTIONS YES. WE HAVE 3 OTHER 5 AXIS THAT ARE 100% THE SAME AS THIS WE HAVE CHANGED NCU Can you attach snap shot of OP screen? WHERE DO I FIND THIS? PSU ? im not sure i have something called SITOP PSU8200 PISCEAN 2010 Its OK. After carrying out general reset, have you set password - SUN***E? Do you have PCU50.3? Which is HMI? Now press START UP key on your operateor screen/panel, in this page press set password, password screen page will be displayed, here set password & confirm it with OK or with input (yellow) key. Now you can have access to your HMI. In HMI directory check for .arc file. File with extention as .arc file contains back up data. If separte NC, PLC & drive data is back up, you can restore it from system itself i.e. without connecting external PG/PC or USB device.
