Hello Kheckhec, Alarm A0703 means you have a problem with your communication Paramerters. When changing P0918, did you check if DIP switch for address is still 0? If address is set with DIP switch, then P0918 is not valid, switch has priority. If DIP switch is 0, then address defined in Parameter P0918 is valid. See documentation of Parameterlist here(alarms and failures are also described there): parameter list MM440 In case you need the manual of MM440, you find it here. regards |

Hi Kheckhec, what communication module do you have in use? Alarm A0703 just refers to your communication module. You will have to look there for the problem. regards |

Hello eisenpferdreiter, I think for sure that he will be using this module, because I know that I was the only module of communication via Profibus for MM4. Operating Instructions: MICROMASTER PROFIBUS Optional Board let's see what he will answer |

Hello again, 1) Have you tried with power OFF -->ON or restart your CPU? (if possible) 2) Have youlooked the diagnostic buffer of the CPU? Some information? 3) What blocks are you using to exchange data between the CPU and Micromaster? 4) The profibus module is powered? (24Vdc) 5) This drive is the last node on the Profibus network? if it is the last node, the terminating resistor must be ON otherwise OFF. 6) The ground connection is correct? Maybe in the Profibus connector does not have a good bond. Please answer these questions And have a look me or Vithany: MM440 CB fault 4 F0700 - A0703 alarm ...Help! |

Make shure your PLC sets at least Bit 10 in the control word. A control word that is 16#0000 is ignored and may cause the communication fault. |
