Valli Posts: 262 Rating: (45)	Pinkesh M Conzerv energy meter EM6400 series are communicating but the result is sluggish. The problem I am facing is the slow communication and very intermittent when communicating with all the slaves. Various problems are been faced which I have mentioned in a word file as found in the zip folder. We in Siemens are supporting/ educatingend-user to provide Siemens PAC 3200 meters directlyon profibus to aviod integration issues. Meters have a large no of data to travel and hence its different than Breaker communication wherein primarly you transmit only ON/ OFF/ Trip data. In meters in general 30-40 parameters travels which cannt be handeled by any CPU if you have connected 18nos of devices. Now, either you reduce the no of parameter to be fetched from one device or reduce the loop size from 18 to 6meters/ loop. My Suggestion, from next time onwards, pls go for Profibus meters.
