Hi, Yes, a full compilation is completely normal behavior.. you need to remember two things. An EMT or EPHT consists of a CFC chart with a SFC type inside. When you do changes to the SFC type, you need to update from master library to all AS projects of where the EMT/EPHT is used, resulting in full compile followed by a download change. When you do changes only to the CFC logic like adding an And04 block in the EMT/EPHT, then you only need to synchronize plant types and no full compilation is needed. For the other problem, when you want to delete an EMT/EPHT, you first need to delete the SFC type and then the EMT/EPHT. Remember that the instance still exists in the project, so you need to delete it as well with the same procedure. |
