Hi christopherreyes, Yes, I have tested the event and it works. I had to install SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC, V18.0 Upd1 SR1 to test it in simulation. Kind regards |

Hi Stefan, I have installed that update and I tested the "Input finished" event with a WinCC Unified PC RT and I still can't get it to work. I'm starting to think that maybe I don't understand when the event is executed. From my understanding, the event is executed when, for example, you press the "enter" key after entering a value in an IO Field. Could you share an example project with me? Thank once again. |

Hi christopherreyes, In the attached ZIP file you will find the project I tested with and a video showing the results. It's a very simple HMI project with only one internal variable, one IO field and a circle next to this field. When a new value is entered into the field, the color of the circle changes. Kind regards AttachmentInputFinished.zip (676 Downloads) |

Hi Stefan, I checked in TIA Administrator and seems I have the same versions as you. Where did you check your software installed? Thank you! |

Hi christopherreyes,
In TIA Portal, use the "Help > Installed Software…" menu to see an overview of the software. Scrolling down you will find the link "Detailed information about installed software" which will take you to another window where you can see some more detailed lists. You can also export all lists from there. Do you have older versions of TIA Portal (V17, V16, …) installed in parallel? Kind regards |

Oh I didn't know that way to check the installed software. I attach a screenshoot of this view. I had installed TIA V17 but, supposedly, I uninstalled everything. Thank you so much! |

Hi christopherreyes, I'm afraid you have an incorrect installation of TIA Portal. I just finished a test on a virtual machine that already had V17 installed. I also installed V18 and Update 1 and the event still works. Of course, this is different from your system because you uninstalled V17, but as long as you did the uninstall before installing V18, I expect it to work correctly. So you should probably submit a support request for further assistance. Kind regards |
