Logo 8 Getting started

Nobody has anything against simple questions of newcomers.

But even answer (and then even from 2 different users) should be enough.

Your logo can be supplied with 12VDC or 24VDC. And if you do not connect larger consumers 12VDC to the Logo, 1 A is sufficient.
However, the 12 VDC power supply should be stabilized.

12V+ > L+
12V- > M

OK actually i am a absolute newbe in plc, i made a mistake to buy USBlogo cable!

OK my 12V DC adaptor written over its rating panel it has 1A current is it safe to use?

and before getting my plc show in logosoft8 it requires that i power it by my 12 V adaptor (+ in L+ and - in M slots)

pls don't mind my silly questions ----- i am a absolute newbe in plc

i just want a safe first start, i don't want to burn my plc

I would like to know the V/I rating of fuse for safe operation as told by Ste39

and one thing more do anyone have some basic flow steps to get start in the software to program a simple switch and lamp when i turn on the switch the lamp glows of starts bliking.

1. install logosoft8

2. conect power supply to your plc and ethernet cable between pc and plc

3. open logosoft

hi thanks for reply, only one thing left i am scared still now, the power supply.

actually i have a normal 12V DC/ 1A rated wall AC/DC adaptor of my D-link modem, please tell me is it safe for my plc for power supply and switch inputs.

should i use a fuse if yes of what rating volt /amp both
