Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hi CBo, In the PCS7 project,we used FB7 & FB8 to communciate with CP341 & the receive DB used to get data only after 13-14 minutes, even though there used to be many transmit & receive pulses in between. Today we tried FB122 & FB123 and there was a lot of improvement. The Receive DB is getting data with 55 seconds as when compared to an earlier time period of 13-14 seconds. Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	I did a small trail & error with OB 32scan time & following are the results: Used the following blocks for receive & transmit [ FB122 & FB123 ]. Both these blocks are put in OB32 with the following scan times. a) OB32 = 30msec and Receive DB got refreshed with data after a delay of25 Seconds. b) OB32 = 50msec and Receive DB got refreshed with data after a delay of 55 Seconds. c) OB32 = 100msec and Receive DB got refreshed with data after a delay of 13 Minutes. d) OB32 = 150msec and Receive DB got refreshed with data after a delay of 11 Minutes. In all the 4 cases, the Receive DB delay is only happening once the CPU is restarted. Once we get the data in Receive DB, hence forth all the data is getting refreshed at every request pulse input to the request pin of P_SND_RK. Regards Nil.
