Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	changed on the module output configuration to voltage and program downloaded. checked the voltage at theterminals with 500 ohm connected across the terminals . its showing zero voltage eventhough i m moving 16000 to the output address. i changed the module, on that module also same i m not getting anything, isnt i have to enable something, or any configuration issues, pls advice me

With 12000 (base 10), you should be able to measure between common and each output terminal approximately 4.3 VDC on all four output terminals. Have you verified your multimeter reads ~24VDC between L+ and M on the AQ4 module, and then 0V between M and 0M, 1M, 2M, 3M? and lastly, between M and 0+, 1+, 2+, and 3+ reads that 4.3VDC?

Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	i had checked with the following observtations; between a) L+ AND M : 23.16 volts. b) M AND 0M,2M,3M : all 0 volts. c) M and 0+,1+,2+,3+ : all 0 volts . d) 0M & 0 , 1M & 1; 2M & 2; 3M & 3 all 0 volts. am not getting that 4.3 vdc. i had replace this with another module still same no voltage coming

Or, powering the system down, and reseating the slide bus connectors between the modules?

Looking at your photo in "SM1232 ANALOG OUTPUT PROBLEM.pdf" I do not seewires forpower going into the SM1232. They may be present? But are not visable in photo provided. It is also very easy to have user power going to the wrong terminal block on this Module. I also noted that in your Hardware Config (page 3... 1stscreenshot)you have Power Diagnostics turned OFF. So if you have No power... the module would appear to be OK (All green LEDs) but would not work, as there may be no power. Please...Enable this Diagnostic. Provide pictures with Doors open.
