Programs made with previous versions can not simulated on LOGO 8.4

Otobit Experienced Member Joined: 6/20/2010 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 96 Rating: (0)	Hello Ixo, I have several programs made with all previous versions and I can not simulate it on a LOGO 8.4 even if I change the device in LOGO SOFT 8.4 I don't want to save it in version 8.4 because then I can't use it on devices older than 8.3 for example. This has no solution from what I see. Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from New LOGO compatibility with older programs.

Your program in LSC is for a LOGO! 8.3 hardware. With this setting you cannot run an online test on a real LOGO! 8.4, this is not possible. If you want to run an online test on a real LOGO 8.4 with this program, then you have to change the hardware in the program to LOGO! 8.4.

This has no solution from what I see. Thanks in advance. Hi, you are wrong in this. It is a USP of LOGO! Soft Comfort that it is up- and also down wards compatible. In LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.4 you can select a LOGO! 0BA6 as used hardware and safe the program. This safed program you can open with any version beginning with LOGO! Soft Comfort V6.0 or higher. In any case you also can have several different version of LOGO! Soft comfort installed on you PC, or you can run LOGO! Soft from a copy of the installation CDROM/DVD without installation.
