Hello I'm building a special press machine with 2 hydraulic pumps. Since about of 40% the machine cycle is dead, I thought of using a servo motor, in order to save energy, and reduce the system wear. the machine cycle is about 300 seconds. Pump No.1 need to work in the range of about 500-4000 RPM, with max power of 0.75 KW for about 20 seconds, 2 times in a cycle. In the rest of the time, this pump need to work in 0.6 KW for 5 seconds, 4 times in a cycle. Pump No.2 need to work in the range of about 500-4000 RPM, with max power of 0.2 KW for about 10 seconds, 1 times in a cycle. In the rest of the time, this pump need to work in much lower power. I thought of using V90 0.75KW (Low inertia motor) for both of the pumps. This motor can provide the needed speed and torque. When I look and the SINAMICS selection guide, I don't see V90 series in the hydraulic pump application. I also don't see it in Hydraulic systems - mall. If I understand correctly, G120 driver and induction motor, won't be able to give me the requested speed, so I need to choose a servo motor. Why does V90 is not recommended, and what are the benefits of S120 system? The only reason that I see for using S120 system, is the DCC app for hydraulic pumps. SINAMICS DCC servo pump , but I think that I will be able implement similar functions with V90 system. Thanks in advance Uri |
