Hello, I am agree withVithani. It is possible but not recommended. As the output waveform won't be pure sine wave. it will contain a lot of harmoncs. And it may be harful for your loads. (By the way, what are loads you want to fed for thjis application?) Why do not you use an isolating Variable transoformer?

Search some more options. I dont think its a good idea May beisolating Variable transoformer as suggested by Ayman Elotaifyor any other voltage regulators will be good and mostly that will be cheaper than buyinga VFD |
