pneuma Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	When starting the Sinumeric I get this Message: Wrong System Module Module Installed: 3GE 530.801.9001.02 Module Needed: 3GE 570.805.9xxx.xx After Checking the installed system Modules ( 1, 2 and 3 ) I saw that the code on their chips is: 570.805.0011.06 570.805.0012.06 570.805.0013.06 570.805.0014.06 570.805.0021.06 570.805.0022.06 570.805.0023.06 570.805.0024.06 570.805.0031.06 570.805.0132.06 570.805.0033.06 570.805.0134.06 The board of the first module is coded as 570.260.9104.00A. I need help with troubleshooting pls refer to me the steps I need to take in order to make the sinumric see the correct versions of the module, or if I need to order new parts? Thank You...

pneuma Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	The cnc is Sinumeric 810TF. It was bought used by another company. I was told that they had changed memory modules but worked. The previous operator retired so it is very difficult to find more details over the matter. If you tell me what to post I shall post asap. Thank you.

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, It's an old system but from what I remember there are a couple of eproms on the NC Processor card which control start up and check for correct system software modules. These have to be matched to the system sofware modules. Clearly somebody has changed something in the control if was working OK before. You need access to the software release notes to find the correct numbers. Siemens may help you over the phone but even if they find a match I don't know if the modules are available to order. Sorry I can't be of more help

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, The system software and hardware release notes are not available online as they also document known bugs and give the option bits. These were intended for internal use only hence my suggestion to give Siemens a ring. They were transferred to PDF and a CD created so it shouldn't take too long for a Siemens engineer to find the information.

Your control is one of the early 810 systems so hopefully the attachment will not be a problem with the moderators. The first two eproms are located on the nc processor card. If all of your eproms are correct then you may have a hardware problem. Attachment 810swv06.pdf (407 Downloads)
