XY2-100 interface

Now I looked at my coleague's page about Arduino, he made tests with I2C, max. transfer is 32 Bytes due Arduino library.

yes with this I've think before, but don't know if it really will be enough with speed for you... Look at max transmission speed and give info.

Yes of cause I too doubt......speed of CP its 115kbit, this is much less than the speed of XY2 ((((( and for two coordinate need two CP....(

May be can I use external devices(high speed and ASCII) with Ethernet and communicate from S7 to him?....

something like this MGate 5105-MB-EIP Series this have 921.6 kbps

....I'm depressed this device wor with Modbus protocols....not have access to low level...

Really don't know, because never worked with this device - scan. Probably think about CPU scan time, change control signal, sometimes you can have few ms to do something. Maybe William and other experts can say their opinions. But I'm very interested with that controller, there are many interfaces, some application with API so for me is for first missunderstanding system of control that device with API, but if there is controller everythink is probably ok, it's suitable to make quick outputs via BUS to that scan.

What about scan time, I think I can send to CommProc large frame of date in ASCII format (large lenght, ex. 256byte) and waiting in CPU when his transfer this frame.....of cause I cant communicate directly by CPU.... and Im waiting for new ideas or opinions....

This controller can be accessed via USB serial interface or via Ethernet and you can send more or less simple ASCII-commands to it in order to let the controller convert it to legal XY2-100 signals.
