When open in TIA V14 SP1 and upgrade, TIA show "General in/output error on data medium". What can do?

Sa Lem Nhem Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I have a project on TIA 13 SP1. When I open in TIA V14 SP1 and upgrade, TIA show "General in/output error on data medium". What can i do? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from TIP: TIA V14: Opening V10.5, V11, V12, V13 projects.. Compile all HW / SW with rebuild all optioin. 2 - Open a new project on TIA V13 SP1. Copy the contends of all devices from the original project / network view to the new project. 3 - Try to open this new project on TIA V14 SP1.

Sorry for stepping into this conversation. About step1 - can it be any sub version of TIA V13 SP1 or must it be TIA V13 SP1 Update 9? I know that TIA V13 SP2 does work.

Correct any errors. Perform an "archive" of the project. Open the archive in V14 SP1. If it complains, open the archive in V13 SP2, recompile / rebuild all. Archive, and then try again with V14 SP1. Close project 3. Close TIA_PORTAL 4. Restart PC And restart and reopened project and now ARCHIVE project works without error. Yours sincerely, Guillem
