TIA v10.5 nad V11 Problem

Homeroid_BL Posts: 211 Rating: (6)	Hi all! I ask guys from Siemens here: Now i work with TIA V11, and i want to use libraries from V10.5 since customer requested GPRS communication. But, v11 does not supprot v10.5 libraries. Will CE-X21 will be published again, but with v11 support? Thanks.

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (119)	I was informed that demonstration projects for the 1200 that are posted on the Siemens Website are planned to be updated to V11.I was not informed of a date for the completion of the conversion. As for the CE-X21 library. The conversion failedbecause ofthe watchtables in the library.The watchtable contained references to the instance datablock for FB144, com. The Instance DB is not in the library, so the conversion could not access it. I opened the library in 10.5 and deleted the watchtable elements and saved the library. I then opened the library in V11. The conversion was successfully completed. The Data_DB, DB144, is an array of 1000 bytes in both libraries.FB144 appears the same as well. I do not have any equipment to test the converted FB but you can go through the process and see if it works for you. You should be able to create the watchtables manually. Good Luck billwest

Homeroid_BL Posts: 211 Rating: (6)	billwest, ! You can insert library in V11, but when using it and comiling, there is a message: You can not compile FB144 without a valid password. So, library is still invalid for V11.
