A single bit cannot be a variant as you found in the MOVE_BLK_VARIANT F1-Help documentation, correct? Block Inputs of type Variant, in the available datatypes, bool is not presented as an acceptable alternative, correct? This is kind of reading the documentation and looking for omissions rather than it stating something in a note like: NOTE: Variant datatypes only accept datatypes of at least one byte in length, and only multiples of bytes in length. That would save a few people a little headache. What real-world situation exists for your projects where a bool can appear in the mix of things and pose as an unexpected datatype? I know the world is gray, but PLCs do not like gray. Program the gray out and life gets better.
