How to keep Redundant Wincc projects updated after making changes

We are about to design a redundant scada but once started we will need to add more plcs because the plant is growing. This means that I will have to make modifications to the project, but ... what is the correct procedure to have the two redundant projects equalized? Should I create an engineering station that offloads the redundant servers? Should I modify the master project and update redundant project with online modifications? Should I modify the master project and update the redundant project through the Project duplicator? It is important to clarify that I must not lose graphic histories since it is a pharmaceutical industry and many audits are done!

Can you tell me if the procedure to duplicate the project are the following: 1) Disable runtime server Master 2) Make modifications 3) Activate the run time in server master 4) Disable runtime on redundant server 5) Dulpicar the server projector in the redundant project 6) Perform redundancy and server name configurations on the redundant server 7) Activate Redundant Server So should it be done? Or can I do it all without disabling the runtimes? I have tried to integrate wincc in simatic manager, but when transferring it to the master and redundant servers it does not allow them to initialize the project because it is a project imported from simatic manager.

This topic has been closed But before definitively leaving this method in the plant, I would like to test what it would be like to download from the simatic manager. Can you recommend me a document on how to do it? Actually I've already done it but it doesn't work ... at the engineering station I have managed to import the wincc project Then I try to download it to any of the servers either the master or the redundant one and the project is transferred but then when it tries to open it keeps showing the image1 and then the error of the image2 appears if I try to start the project manually it asks me to select a different path to reopen the project since the transferred project has been created in simatic manager. Should I install the Wincc again ??? The other thing I can see is in the wincc diagnostic folder the event document appears with the following error: SIMATIC WinCC ProjectManager: I nfo: Failure in OpenProject (InternalGetAso): 8004620f, retry count: 0 to 30 Attachment SQL MANAGER.PNG (195 Downloads)

If you can open or create on each computer a new WinCc test project, there is no need to install Wincc again. Do you change after WinCC installation the computer name ? Please post all Wincc diagnostic files from wincc daigostic folder as zip file Best regard schufri

I only had to activate the "SQL server Agent" service, the project was transferred correctly, and opened it on the destination server. But I still do not have the "SQL Server Integration Services" In fact I reinstalled SQL SERVER and it did not install. I guess it is not necessary for the application that I am using.
