Hi, seems that this is caused by the version being installed on the IOT2040. I compared the version on IOT2050 with the version on IOT2050 (pip3 install python-snap7): IOT2040: python-snap7-0.11 Not sure if this is caused by the x86 architecture of the IOT2040.. According to the documentation of python-snap7 is supported on 64-bit (see here). Another difference is the python version on both devices: IOT2040: python 3.5.6 According to the same documentation as above python 3.6 was tested. Summarized I don't know the exact reason, why python-snap7 v0.11 is installed on the IOT2040, but this might be the problem. Best regards! |

Hi, I tried installing python3.7.3 from source, which worked. Installing python-snap7 with pip3.7 installs version v1.1 and importing snap7.types works! To install python3.7.3 I followed this instrcutions (but changed 3.8.4 to 3.7.3) and skipped the point 2. Best regards! |
