WinCC Pro Recipe import from CSV

WinCC Pro V15.1 RT

I am trying to import recipes data logs from CSV file. I have created the recipe in WinCC Pro and can transfer tags between this and the PLC.

To get the correct format for the data logs I have been exporting log via the icon on the recipe view. I have tried changing the location to export to both in the recipe config online and off line but it only ever exports to the project file UA.

I can import this log only when I first delete the log in the recipe view. 

If I try and alter the CSV, even change a single value it will not import.

I get a message that the log file for this error is in the project directory ua\UALogFile.txt but no such file exists.

I have the recipe license for WinCC Pro RT in my ALM.

I am a bit lost for what else I can try to get this to work.

Ultimately I have a customer on an existing system that I am replacing and they have many existing recipes in Excel format. I need to have a method to convert these to the required CSV format ready to import to the WinCC Pro recipe view.

I'm having the same issue on several instances of WinCC Runtime. Currently, I'm working on v7.5 SP2 UPDT 12. Were you able to resolve this?

I've viewed the log in the "ua" folder. My attempts have returned failed imports, and the log would show all the data in the recipe, but report that only one field was found. After I've managed to change the regional settings to use a ';' and save to .csv, the imports report successful, but there's still no data.
