After upgrading from a W7 PC with Step7 5.6 / TIA16 combo, to a W10 PC with Step7 5.7 TIA17 combo, two Step7 projects opens write protected. WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3 on old PC, upgraded to 2008 SP5 on new PC. When opening projects two windows appears, se photos. ProTool is not installed, 'S7 projects messages' is not installed on old or new PC. Any ideas? [snip] Attachmentimages.zip (487 Downloads) |

Dear Alan_B_Stard, the download of S7-PM can be found with the link below, but you will also need a license for this software package. S7-PM is needed, if in the older project the "project-wide assignment of message numbers" was used. As an alternativ it can help to set this option in the older software to "cpu-wide assignment of message numbers" and save the project with "Save as (with reorganization)". S7-Project Messages (S7-PM) V5.7 Download
Protool: You can try to disable in the settings of V5.7 the "integrity monitoring", FAQ below. Maybe this helps. But i assume there is also a compatibility issue with windows 10 and protool. After installing STEP 7 V5.7, why do you get a message about missing options packages when starting STEP 7?regards sancruz |
