Demo Mode

I am testing Desigo CC 4.0 for evaluation (I´m new in this plataform!). In the help it says ... In Demo Mode, you can only switch from Engineering to Operating mode. Once you are in Operating mode you cannot switch back to Engineering mode.

in my test has never been in Engineering mode.

Pleaseeee I need some help!

Could someone clarify for me.

This note applies e.g. when a valid license is deactivated. An example of such a situation is when the dongle of the associated engineering license is unplugged. After that, if you were in engineering mode, you can only go back to operating mode and that's it.

If you don't have a valid license, you can't really test much, because in demo mode you are very limited. So there are 2 options, either you get a demo license (Ordering details: P55802-Y140-A100 (CCA-DEMO)) or you use the SI Demo Portal (a ready-to-use Virtual Machine on the Cloud that you can book for 2 – 12h).

For both options it is necessary that you contact your local Siemens organization and describe your need.
