Short answer: There is no 1:1 successor of FM352 within S7-1200 or S7-1500 or ET200SP, none of the TM modules provides this functionality all in one. FM352 is cam track processing, so reading an encoder, processing this value with the given configuration of the encoder and the cam tracks and then providing the according cam signals. Within S7-1500 you can use the motion control technology objects (TO) that are included in every S7-1500 PLC. These also include a TO OutputCam (single cam) and TO CamTrack (track with several output cams on it, all assigned to one output). See here for information on TO OutputCam, TO CamTrack is described in the chapter beneath: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/de/view/109781852/137919803531?dl=en You could then use one of the TM modules to read the encoder, on which the TO OutputCam / CamTrack then basis its calculations. This is basically also what the migration guide that Towome has linked states. Alternatively there is the MtM solution (Module-to-Module), where you have two modules that are directly working with each other, without any processing on the PLC. With this you can use a TM Count or TM PosInput to read the encoder, add a DQ module to this to put out the cam signals and configure the switching points. Some information about this can be found here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/de/view/109767618 Regards, |
