Hi K.Jagan, you have to book back the licenses before you download a new program to the CPU. If you don't book back the licenses the POs get lost as far as I know. If you download the same project but with less POs the POs will be booked back by the system. Find the needed information in the manual "SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Engineering System (V8.2)" chapter 9.12.4.1 "Counting and booking process object licenses" |

Booking back is only necessary when you replace the CPU or download your program to another CPU... The PO objects are available in the ALM (Automatic License Manager) on the ES. The PO needed will be taken from the total available. PO is available in several quantities-> 100, 500, 1000 etc. The PO will be downloaded to the CPU. If you have another program on the same ES, but with less PO, the amount not needed will be booked back. |
