Where to find the function block "UserDiag_Diagnostics" in TIA PORTAL V 17 in order to call in a Startup OB? Isn't it a system included FB (i.e., FB2003)?

I have tried this link, but still it is not clear the root of identifying the FB (e.g., if you add an empty box in a LAD OB and type "UserDiag_Diagnostics" in it, the TIA does not identify it as a system FB).

Thank you for your reply. I actually have already a FB from Siemens which serve as a "monitor" for peripheral I/O field devices (i.e., motors, pumps, etc.) connected in Profinet, as attached within this quotation. My question is, shouldn't such function block be integrated within the TIA as a system FB?

Or is it the fact that when a user needs such a FB, he just copy/paste it from the application example (like in your stated link), as there is not any other way to obtain it in TIA?

It is no system function block.

If you want to use the function, then use the FB#s from the example.

There are still system FCs and system FBs in the Step7 of TIA Portal, but it is a bit more hidden to the user. For the S7-1200 and S7-1500 some change in thought occurred -- libraries and application examples are supplied to clients to fill up functionalities. These code samples are shared with the public with the aim that it be used. The more easy implementation becomes the more competitive the hardware become in the market.
