Hi, this will work, but you have to use bit 0-7 in the chronological order so connect the following signals to the BO_W block: I12.0->IN0 I12.1->IN1 I12.2->IN2 I12.3->IN3 etc. From you printscreen, I don't know if you have connected IN0, IN4 etc. because it's not visible. But you have to be sure that those bits are defined as the Status word... Can't you replace the Basic Type 2 module for another one that reads Word? |

Hi, You can address the bit range as a word in the symbol table as well. When using the word address in the CFC program, it basically starts reading the word at I12.0 and reads out the whole area I12.0-I13.7. So that is possible as well, even if the module is shown in bits. |

Hello Cristian, SIMOCODE PRO V (Profibus) - Addresses will be coming in Word irrespective of Basic Type 1 or Basic Type2. No need to convert the bool addresses to word and use it in program!. You can directly use the address as IW0 (If the addresses are starting from I0.0 in Hardware configuration of SIMOCODE PRO V PN). Please find the attached Zip file of configuration.
