I tried to read a SIMATIC MDS D400 tag using the NFC of a samsung S9+ mobile phone and the first application found on the android play store. I succeded in reading the UID and then I used this code to enter on the corresponding HMI. I think this is not really safe. Someone can copy a tag and use directly to access my system by inserting the UID by hand. Is there a way to protect the UID in order to avoid this? Or Is there a way to allow access to HMI only by tag and not by using the password inserted by hand? Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

No, and I agree that it is not very safe. |
