Hi, I understand your question, there is not a lot you can find about domain controllers i.c.w. PCS7. What you have to take into account at least: - Run the SimaticRights.exe after switching to the new domain. This tool (found on DVD) will set the required rights, ports and firewall rules and must be executed in the normal situation when switching from domain to workgroup and visa versa. - Make sure that the rights/permissions for your shared project folder and such are still valid. I think those will get invalid since your switch to a new domain even if the users are the same - If you use encrypted communication (Simatic Shell), make sure you change it to "no" when configuring the new domain - If you use a service account for your OS server(s) and the user is coming from the domain, make sure you update/check the OS project with the new service account - Configure SIMATIC Logon with the new DC name (if used) for all PC stations |
