Hello, I am working on an internal project for the company I am interning at. I only started using this software about a month ago so I apologize ahead of time for any of my ineptitude when it comes to the issue I am having. On the Keyence side, I have downloaded and set up the IP address for the module, I have the sensor monitor application and see that my computer receives real time data from my sensors. On the physical device I have moved the dials to match the IP address I set in the computer. I have two devices connected to the module: a GPMT and an FL series sensor. For TIA, I have downloaded the GSDML file and placed it into my devices & networks. I see too in the "online access" folder that TIA recognizes that my Keyence device is a master module. Despite that when I attempt to go online with the software and everything turned on and plugged in, the module is the only thing not communicating. My error was worse before, but I think it was because I did not have the ports set up properly in TIA, when I moved stuff around the "not reachable" error disappeared. Keyence technical support says that everything should be working with their equipment and that I should figure it out with the Siemens stuff, so now I am here. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. AttachmentTIA Pictures.zip (431 Downloads) |

JBS98, Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately, I receive no options to compile or download to device (see attached image) when I am clicked on the device. TIA does not seem to see it the same way as it does with other devices. Also, the reason we purchased this Keyence equipment is because it was designed in such a way that it is supposed to easily communicate with TIA (see also attached PDF). They have an entire manual where they discuss how to interface with TIA, I am even using a 1200 series like they do in the manual. I would find it hard to believe that there would be no diagnostic data shared between the devices provided the manual, but maybe I am misunderstanding the difference there? Thank you, Connor AttachmentPNG PDF.zip (537 Downloads) |
