Micromaster 440 Factory reset

Dear Members,

good day , as i am newbie here i would like to know some points for factory resetting of Micromaster 440.

as we have one Micromaster 440 6SE6440-2AD22-2BA1. which is used to drive the cutting disc motor. and this drive is serially connected to profibus drive node 15 (as per Drawing).

hence we are facing a problem in our drive when running time the drive stops and there is no Alarm or warning on the BOP. we have go through the manual to find solution, as we observe the parameter R0722 bit 0 - 1 (High when command enables) suddenly becomes 0 while running time (command signal enable), there isn't any warning or alarm on the BOP. neither any alarm on profibus, so i would like to know some points on this note.

1- We would like to do Factory reset for the drive to see the result of eliminating the problem, if we do factory reset will i face any problem with the programming because this drive is serially connected with profibus net node 15. what are the steps should we follow rather than parameters P0010-30 P0970-1 to complete factory reset, does i have to remove the profibus communication node before proceeding this step.

2- Current following parameter for selection of command source is P0700 - 6, function of digital input P0701 -1, P0702 -0, P0703-0 only DIN1  input command is coming. i would like to change the input command from DIN1 to DIN2 , and the parameter will set to P0701 - 0, P0702 - 1, P0703 - 0,  if we did this does drive will run, hence this drive is serially connected with profibus net or we need any other parameters also need to be set.

thus i have to take precautions while carriying out the above steps.

so kindly please assist me, i am awaiting of your valuable feedback on this subject

Hi, I would test to make a complete new Project/PAR-file with all right settings, and download to EPROM.

Not under operation of course, but in this case You do not need to disconnect the unit from buss at all?

so I understand that You are worries about "loosing" the unit in the Profibus during Fac.RES./ PAR.-changing?

Therefor my suggestion, which I would do, to make a new project, (with some small value-changing, eg. 0.2 Effect or 1 rpm or so, so You have some differences compared with the existing in the unit), and download this with Your new requested settings for P70x: x and so

Not under Operation of this unit, of course.

More the so I have no another ideas before I have seen the project.

You need use AOP or Stater Sw back up all parameter , before making factory reset
