Proper connection with RF360 and S7-1500

I have the following setup:

TIA V18

S7-1500

Profinet reader RF360R

I would like to work with reader in direct connection to PLC via Technology object without RF188 etc. Reader is connected in network, but i'm not sure if the settings in TIA is OK, because i get only errors even in moment of calling reset reader function (timeout in INIT). Please look at screens and check if i have right settings.

In hw of rf360 I have Device module (I .. 37) and Reader communication (I .. 47). I'm not sure what should i select in TO (Ident device and if use LADDR or HW_ID)

first, one info (just in case): RF360R can't be connected to RF188C.

It looks like you're using the gsdml of RF360R and not the device available in TIA portal. That shouldn't be a problem but could be worth trying.

Please try changing the reader parameter assesment to RF300 general fast protocoll (from RF300 Gen2 general). If that doesn't help a deeper look into the project could be necesarry.

Thanks for answer. I've made some progress. Found that RF360R is in HW catalog so no gsdml now. Reset is functional but read instruction keeps busy a not working.

Ident object now:

-basic param/ Ident device: IID device.Reader configuration_1 (i tried also RFID communication_1 - > no difference) -> if i choose RFID.. then I'm able to selecet from: RF300 general, fast protocol or General reader

User mode: Ident profile / RFID standard

RFID communication_1 is the right choice for transponder access.

Please keep in mind that the TO needs to be updated if changes are made. This is also the case if a different module is selected in a existing TO. You can either create a new TO or downlaod the exisiting one and transfer the start values to the acutal values.
