DI16x24VDC HF, HSC parameterization issue

I may be wrong, but once you enable the HSC for Ch 0 & 1 with the checkbox, you then carry out the configuration in the DI module, at each Ch 0 & 1's Properties -> General.

When you clicked the red "button", or expanded the local modules (clicking the ►) and selected the module, what happened?

 As you can see on the picture "Local modules" is opened and empty. The black triangle  on the left side looks toward the bottom.

The "red" message I can only close with crosses.

Update:

DI16x24VDC Ch0, Ch1 are activated as HSC.

What is wrong I have no idea.

That linked document tells you not to try because it is not intended to work as a TO.

FYI, that is where I found the link I previously posted.  I read it and knew it was directly applicable to your situation.

Delete your TO and then look at this document.  Personally, I find the document lacking, so looked into the same document and located the much needed piece of information (at least to me):

In there, it shows how to get the HSC(s) to work, and where to look for the count value(s).

 The issue is I can not configure HSC block as per picture attached. Its configuration sequence doesn't see PLC local modules. That's the point!

Maybe this library and the documentation that comes with it may be useful.  I know it would be for me.

It seems you are right. But it doesn't make me happy.

Either I need Compact version of plc or I need an adequate application example in terms how to use DI HF modules for HSC.

Because in Chapter 5.2 of document as above  I understood almost nothing.
