Hi I use TIA Portal V18 and S7-PLCSIM Advanced 5.0 in Windows 11 OS. I am trying to simulate a S7-1500 CPU ( Article No.: 6ES7 511-1AK02-0AB0 FW: V2.5) with S7-PLCSIM Advanced 5.0 to test a simple MODBUS TCP/IP communication where S7-1500 will be client and my PC will be the MODBUS Server using relevant software. Until loading the program to the CPU instance in PLCSIM Advanced I have an established connection and I can ping the device through PLCSIM Virtual Ethernet Adapter. However, when I try to load the program for simulation, I get the following error in the Load Results: "Error downloading to device" Info window at the TIA Portal Inspector shows the following message: "Loading of HW configuration failed (0050 5 2 2458)." Would appreciate it if I can have some assistance in order to solve the problem. I have attached folder with pictures better reference. Thank you in advance. AttachmentPictures.zip (6 Downloads) |

Hi I checked the diagnostic buffer of the PLCSIM Advanced v5.0 device and I attach it along with some other pictures. If I understand correctly it seems the offline device and the device created in PLCSIM Advanced v5.0 are incompatible, however I am not able to understand why. Thank you for your assistance.
