Wrong time on certain alarms

All alarms in "HMI alarm" are displayed correctly on the HMI screen. However, certain alarms linked to my drives present in "PLC supervisions & alarms" display in the "time" field a deviation from the time at which they are activated. At 3:25 p.m. I tried to set up an alarm on the drive (see attachment): - on the HMI screen the alarm displays in the time field : 4:25 p.m. - this is also the case for the alarm log file - however in the PLC alarm display, it's the right time which is displayed (3:25 p.m). Could you please help me ? My config: - Tia portal V18 update 3 - Panel TP comfort 1500 V17 - WinCC comfort - I use the area pointer to synchronize the clock of the HMI and the PLC. - The "Daylight saving time" is activated in the HMI configuration and deactivated in the PLC configuration - The HMI clock is master and the PLC clock is slave - The time zone is the same in the PLC config, in the HMI config and on the screen of the PLC (Setting> Date and time> general> time zone) Best regards, Attachment Screen.png (187 Downloads)

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 14181 Rating: (1775)	Hello AutoGen_2037248 PLC Alarms and other timestamps that comes from PLC are send by Systemtime of the PLC (UTC). In WinCC the Local time is build by the UTC (Time Synchronisation from PLC) and the local settings like timezone and summer/wintertime (if you have). The HMI alarms (descrete and analog) uses the systemtime-timestamps of the HMI. In the Alarm logfile only UTC timestamps are stored. But in the alarmcontrol the HMI calculates its local time and you should see the correct one. So to get a full working Time synchronization and all correct timestamps on both sides you have to use a Time synch in the HMI connection (slave). then set up the same Timezone on PLC and HMI And then use the workaround for Summer/Wintertime (panel does not switch automatically!) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/69864408 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109482675
