MM440 stop working in running condition

Dear sir ,

I am using MM440 drive having capacity of 132kw with 90kw motor.Reference for analog input is coming from potentiometer and We have wired start command between terminal 24 and terminal 6.

Yesterday in running plant drive stop working without any fault so I checked reference voltage is coming from potentiometer but drive is not starting.Then I simply provided link between terminal 24 and terminal 6 but still drive not running.

My parameter settings are,

P700-2

P701-2

P702-12

P1000-2

P1080-0

P1082-50Hz

P2000-50Hz  

After that I removed control card and reinserted but situation is same so I modified P702-2 and drive start working.

Now i wanted to know why drive stop working in running condition.???

Why parameter P7002 needs to change from P702-12 to P702-2???

What is the difference between parameter  on reverse/off1(P702-2) and only reverse(P702-12)

Pls guide....

Accordingly, the hardware configured for the MicroMaster 440 is in a reverse mode with command source P0700 enable at terminal 6 (digital input 2) with supply of 24voltage.

To activate the default P0700 command source P0700 should be set to 12 (ie P0702-12) otherwise 2 (ie P0702-2).

Dear sir,

Previously parameter P700 was set to 12 and it was running fine but suddenly drive stop working in reverse direction even after present of analog setpoint.

So i have changed P700 parameter from 12 to 2 and than it working ok.

Pls guide on this why parameter P700 need to change from 12 to 2 and what it means????

Changing P0700 to another setting all Binary Input parameters will revert back to factory settings, this is the architecture of the code, and can be  a real puzzle, but that is the way it is...

This can however be useful when trying out different configurations, as this is a quick method for resetting parameters to default without resetting the whole device to 'Factory Default'.
