Which CAN protocol is being utilized by this mk5 controllers?

Good day.

I'm also using this compressor. 

Two Compressors connected to an equalizer that controls the speed of both the compressors. Can address 1 & 2, equiliser can address 32.

I connected a moxa Mgate 5118, to convert this CAN protocol to modbus tcp.

I cant pick up any of these addresses. Aparrently the Compressors are possiblly not using the CAN Bus (J1939). 

Original wiring CAN Protocol wiring:

Comp1 daisy chained to comp2 then daisy chained to equiliser. Termination resistors are active on comp1 and equalizer.

Moxa gateway daisy chained to equalizer, with equiliser termination resistor is off and moxa gateway termination resistor active. 

Can anyone assist as to which CAN protocol is being utilized by this mk5 controllers? 

Equiliser seems to loose comms with comp 1& 2 with this wiring layout. Assist if I should make equalizer the end of the trunk line instead?
