I am struggling with a problem with an application that I developed. In short, I have the following communication architecture:

Vision system ----> Connected to -------> PLC Siemens [CPU 1515F-2 PN]
PLC -----> Connected to -------> Kuka robot (by Profisafe)

The robotic cell is working ok, but sometimes suddenly the PLC goes to Stop Mode, I do not really know the reason but the diagnostic status shown the message "Data corruption in the safety program" and the FB involved in this issue is FB 32775 F_PS_SEEDPASS_SEND (I attached the image of the FB with the error).

Somebody can help to understand how can I fix this error or how can I find the exact error in order to solve it?

In the buffer diagnostic, I get the alarm message of the error in the Q24 offset 1, as I read in the link provided, which means that the error is in Q24.1. My big problem is that this specific output is just written in one place as shown in the image attached. I am really struggling with this issue and I have no luck finding a solution can you advise me on something else, please.

The information that maybe you should know is that the output is written just there and also the bit "emergenciesOK" is a static memory only to know if every emergency in the system is Ok. The code is very simple, so the error is weird in my point of view and I don't have any idea how to solve it. Please can you help me?

Finding errors

The additional information below helps you to identify errors:

• Start address of the F IO

• Offset of the output

Offset of the output means the offset of the first defective byte beginning with the start address of the module.

Offset = 0 .. n: error in the channels

Offset = n+1: error in the control byte of the module, for example: signals "PASS_ON", "ACK_REQ"
n = number of channels / 8

Example:

Start address = "452" and Offset = "0" means that the data corruption is in output byte 452 (for F-DQ: Q452.0 to Q452.7).

 I think it means that the data corruption is in output byte 25 (second byte) of the F-DQ not Q24.1.

Does the G120C controller have constant 24VDC power (does not rely on the high voltage and internal 24V supply)?

If not, change it so it does.

If so, find a variable delay relay and insert it into the incoming power to the PLC's 24V.

You will want the G120C to be online and ready when the PLC powers up.

Or, find a way to send a reset to the G120C that resets that "failed" I/O address.

There may be other avenues for this specific problem and I look forward to real experts using Profisafe with S7-1500 PLCs and how they circumvent this issue.

Hi All,

Has anyone solved this issue?

I currently have a problem when PLC is started and goes into stop due to FB32772 which is F_PSV2_13_SEND function block.

The failed F I/O address is always a G120C drive profisafe address, however switched every time.

I have previously used this communication many times without any errors.

To get the PLC running again I have to modify a safety FB and add a new line of code in and then download to PLC, after this PLC goes into run and works, however on next power failure or reboot the issue happens again.

Any help is appreciated.
