convert real to time in CFC

I'm using PCS7 v8.2, I want to convert a real number to time to use for a timer. How I can do.

If you use a timer from the APL library (Timer_P), then its Ti input is set in REAL format.

You can write a small function to convert:

FUNCTION R_Time : VOID

VAR_INPUT
    In : REAL;
END_VAR

VAR_OUTPUT
    Out : TIME;
END_VAR

    Out := DINT_TO_TIME(REAL_TO_DINT(In * 1000));

END_FUNCTION

1. Multiply to change your time in Real format (day, hour, min, sec etc) to millisecond first
2. Convert Real to Double Word
3. Write to a placeholder location address in a User DB
4. Read back as Time from User DB
