I have failsafe s7414-5h cpu with remote IO of IM153-2, with failsafe IO modules.

while programming in CFC to read the IO we need Input / output drivers.

F_CH_BI: F-Channel driver for inputs of data type BOOL of fail-safe DP standard slaves and fail-safe standard I/O devices

F_CH_DI: Fail-safe channel drivers for digital inputs of F-I/O (except fail-safe DP standard slaves

In my case for IO in im153-2 i called F_CH_BI driver but im getting an error, if i call F_CH_DI im not getting the error.

i have a sample project he has called F_CH_BI for io in im153-2 but there is no error.

As the name implies if we call F_CH_BI we should not error if we call driver for standard slave failsafe ios.

F_CH_BI is used for STANDARD modules i.e. non safety or normal DI modules. Whereas F_CH_DI is used for fail-safe DI modules.

User is not permitted to program these blocks or even interconnect. These are generated & interconnected automatically when 'Generate module drivers' is on.
