We are seeking your assistance regarding a communication issue with our Siemens S7-1200 PLC (Model: 1214DC/DC/DC).

We have recently purchased and installed a Smart Factory Robotic Arm supplied by Matrix, which integrates the Siemens PLC as part of its control system. However, we are unable to establish communication between the PLC and PC via Ethernet despite multiple attempts.

We would appreciate your guidance on the following points:

Proper configuration of Ethernet communication between PC and PLC in TIA Portal.

Step-by-step process to transfer a program or project file from PC to the HMI connected with the PLC.

Any necessary network settings or prerequisites (such as IP configuration or firmware compatibility) that we should check before communication.
