Used simple instrunctions (for better understanding) & only drive related inputs/outputs are configured. Additional DI/DOs are available for interfacing more I/Os. (M0.0 ... M1.7) MW16 - Drive speed setpoint. MW12 - Motor low speed limit MW14 - Motor max/high speed limit. MW20 - Drive stastus e.g. drive ready, drive at fault etc. etc. MW22 - Motor actual speed. No MW2, MW6 used. HTH

My question is that why you choose MW0 and MW16 ???? Cant you use another memory word??? nulizhang Platinum Expert Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 11/5/2025 Posts: 4522 Rating: (412)	If you already made your project working followed the example given by PISCEAN 2010, dont care so much about how to select MW??, I think the expert has his good reasons to do like that way --such as the MW should not being used by the other function in the same PLC project, and also need consider modify (add new function) in the future. I attached control wards from the manual -you can see they occupied 2 words of memory. the words I think used in the example. and some other reasons not important for making project working.
