Good morning,

I have a problem with ProTool and would appreciate your help.
I am working on an existing project for an OP27 panel that I need to modify. When opening the screens, the symbol graphic lists (for example, valves, pumps, etc.) do not display, and instead only the “<” symbol appears.

As a test, I converted the same project to an OP270, and in that case, the graphics display correctly.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or how to fix it?

Hello,

In my experience, this means either your install is damaged or perhaps an unsupported release number of Windows was used in the installation. Protool had a very limited Windows OS support range.

I tried reinstalling ProTool V6.0 SP3 on both Windows XP SP3 and Windows 2000, but I still have the same issue.

The issue I’m having is with the symbol list. I’m sharing a screenshot from the OP27 project I’m working on, where the symbols “<” are shown instead of the graphics.
However, when I open the symbol list itself, all symbols appear correctly loaded — the problem only occurs on the screens.
I also noticed that in the OP27 example included in the ProTool folder (“Quick_OP27”), the symbol lists (valves, pumps, etc.) are also displayed incorrectly on the screen.
