Hello! Is Problematic Process Historian (Unable to create report manually)

We're encountering an error on creating a report on Process Historian, We also notice having two same name project in Process Historian Data. What we already did is to delete the duplicated/ghost project in Process Historian but after some time it re appears again. Please help us! 

Merging is not allowed and not clickable. 

Our project structure consist of ES ( PCS 7 V9.0 SP3 UC06), Redundant OS Servers, PH/IS (2014 SP3 UC05.)

For additional information:

• This duplicated project problem/issue starts since we downloaded/added our project into the existing multi project hierarchy.
• The project does not use SID
• The Duplicated/Ghost project does not have any contents (when checking in PH)
• All system/server are in the same workgroup/ workgroup name
   
• The project is not using centralized time, example (OS Servers : 8:50AM | PH/IS: 9:16AM)               - The time gets delayed or advance inconsistently everytime there is restart either in PH/ Server 1 or Server 2

Observations:

- We observed that upon clicking the PF_MP without data in PH, the "Merge" button is unavailable to click (grayed out).

• Merge button is only available if we select either of the redundant server under the (+) of the project name. but the duplicated (PF_MP) project it self cant be merge.

- The PH/IS has two user specifically, "admin" and Administrator"

QUESTION : 

1. is possible backup and reconfiguration of process historian possible? Is there a seperate manual to support the reconfiguration or we just follow the same in Process Historian Compendium?

2. What is the best practice to implement this solution? 

3. What are the pre requisite before executing this solution? 

4. What are the possible risk of doing this in a multi project Plant?

Hello,

Yes it should be possible to re-configure the PH from scratch. Note that if you select this option, all your previously archived data will be lost.

You may configure PH according to the PH manual.
