Dears Sirs, any one that experimented the https://weinzierl.de/en/products/knx-ip-baos-777/ ? Many year have passed, I've seen siemens got TP/IP interfaces but in the application example use an external PROFINET/KNX gateway:
In this example too much devices are involved data import/export, this is no good solution. I want the simplest way to manage an existing KNX system via an S7-1200. To manage my logic via PLC. How could it be possibile that via a simple TP/IP interface a raspberry pi can control a KNX plant and a Siemens PLC could not Any advice is appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

I'm using this KNX Modbus TCP Gateway. Modbus TCP communication is default available in a S7-1200 and S7-1500 controller |

Also S7KNXcom is a good solution. Downside is that this software is only working on a 1500 and not on a 1200 CPU because of the Multicast implementation. Having this running for over a year now. Very stable. |
