I’m trying to set up a development environment so our developers can create custom 808D screens on the PC version. While it’s possible to develop directly on the controller, it’s very time-consuming, and it would be much more efficient to work on a computer instead of at the machine.

I tried copying the EasyXLanguage scripts into the HMI folder in the VM, but the files won’t copy and I’m getting access-related errors. Does anyone know how to work around this or the correct way to set this up?

Anyone? @nulizhang, @Riddersholm any hints?

Recently a new software add on was introduced to the Access MyMachine P2P package. This add on is known as Create MyScreens and is a visual design aid which compiles the design you create in the tool directly into the XML file syntax which you can then load directly into the controller.

You would need Access MyMachine P2P V5 - 6FC5860-7YC47-0YA0

Hi Taron,

Access MyMachine P2P is a software tool which is installed on a Windows workstation, PC, Laptop etc. You would develop the screen masks in the AMM Create MyScreens and then transfer the compiler XMLs to the physical controller.
